Does Spurling Bridal & Formalwear make wedding gowns on the premises?
No, we do not make wedding gowns. All of our gowns are purchased from a variety of designers throughout Australia and overseas. If the gown is made in Australia, it is sent directly to us from the designer/manufacturer. However, if the manufacturer is offshore, the gown is sent to us via their agent in Australia or via the designer if they are located in Australia.
How long does a wedding gown take to arrive once an order has been placed?
Depending on whether the gown is manufactured in Australia or overseas, the delivery time can range between 3-6 months.
Does Spurling Bridal & Formalwear stock bridesmaids dresses?
Yes. We carry an extensive range of bridesmaids and formalwear dresses.
Does Spurling Bridal & Formalwear stock Flowergirl Dresses?
Yes. We have a selection, most of which you can buy off the rack, which allows you to purchase closer to the wedding so they haven't grown out of it.
Which bridal designers do you stock?
We stock gowns from a large number of designers. These include Airs & Graces, Henri Josef, & Elizabeth De Vargo, Demetrious, Moni Cheri, LV Trends & Mancini
Are the gowns made to measure?
No. We take measurements to determine the manufacturers stock size. Your measurements provide us with a guide in choosing which stock size to order, eg. size 8, 10 or 12 etc.
Are there lay-by facilities available at Spurling Bridal & Formalwear?
Yes. At Spurling Bridal & Formalwear we have a 6 month lay-by period that can be started with a minimum 20% deposit. The goods are only ordered once 50% has been paid.
Does Spurling Bridal & Formalwear store purchase gowns on the premises or are the brides required to pick them up once they have arrived and are paid for in full?
We are able to store the gowns on our premises right up until the wedding day if the bride wishes. This is done free of charge.
Does Spurling Bridal & Formalwear provide an alterations service?
Yes. At Spurling Bridal & Formalwear we provide an alterations service through our dressmaker on the premises. However, alterations are not included in the price of the gowns and are therefore an additional cost.
